Project Description:
The
project is a mixed housing community providing permanent housing for the
homeless and low-income housing for families.
The long and narrow site permitted separate areas for the separate
housing communities. The Town Homes
feature main street frontage, two private patios, and enclosed garages. The Village housing for the homeless features
a Community Center and communal entrance courtyards. Extensive sustainability measures have been
incorporated into the project such as solar hot water heating, previous paving,
recycled materials, and energy efficient HVAC systems that provide 20% better
than current Title 24 energy requirements.
Project is on track to pursue certification from the Build It Green
Program.
Completion: August 2011
