Van Maren Pump Station

This project includes a new Mechanical Control Building for a new pump lift station for an increase in capacity of the existing storm and sewer for the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District.

The concrete masonry unit building has portions of the roof in clay tile designed to blend with the adjacent Catholic Diocese Retreat Center. A concrete masonry unit fence with pre-cast concrete elements provides security. Variations in height of the fence helps to alleviate the large scale of the building to the scale of the pedestrians on the street.
