The tank features natural stone veneer, stucco and masonry enhancements in a design that is characteristic of the agricultural past of Davis. The pump station is of concrete masonry and features stone veneer as well as curved and gabled metal roofs. Site improvements feature a decorative iron fence with rammed earth pilasters and screen wall. Sustainable features of the site include native and drought resistant landscape, concrete masonry with recycled content, rammed earth pilasters and screen wall using earth removed from the site for installation of the tank, and LED lighting.
